dan daly opportunity fund
CCCCF is proud to offer funding for High School wrestling programs in the State of Colorado through generous funding through the Dan Daly Opportunity Fund.
Funds Available: $5,000 Grant available to one applicant annually.
2025 Timeline:
Applications Open: March 1st
Application Deadline: April 30th
Award Decision: August 1st
Funds Distributed: August 30th
Eligibility Criteria:
Colorado high school wrestling programs. Applicants can be any public high school (Private and charter schools are not eligible).
In compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations that govern the use of funds from private foundations to the Grantee organization.
All applicants must meet the following criteria:
Applicant must actively have a wrestling program in Colorado.
Requests must be for expenses above and beyond standard program budget and specifically for the youth in the program. Applicants should submit previous year and current program budgets to indicate the new expenses. (Eligible examples include new equipment, expenses to cover traveling to meets, etc.)
Funds must be used within one year of receipt.
Requests should outline specific use of the funds. Awards will be restricted to grants for the purposes outlined in the application.
Preference given to wrestling programs that can indicate a financial need of either the program or the youth in the program.

Grant Exclusions: Grants are subject to the following exclusions:
Political organizations or social clubs
Any organization deemed to be working against the interests of the donor
Any organization deemed to have a conflict of interest with the donor
Any organization that prohibits people from serving on staff, volunteering or receiving services based on their religion
Reporting Requirements: Grant report due one year after funds are awarded. Grant report will outline how grants funds were utilized.
